Courtyard Transformation: Paving the Way to Elegance

This project showcases a stunning courtyard renovation, breathing new life into this outdoor space. We’ve left no stone unturned to ensure a seamless transformation that maximizes both aesthetics and functionality.

We began by removing the gate and posts, opening up the courtyard for a fresh start. We replaced exterior pipework and gave it a sharp black finish, adding a modern touch to the space. We didn’t overlook any detail, expertly filling all larger holes in the walls before applying a fresh coat of sandtex masonry paint. The result is a set of walls that exude a clean, polished appearance.

For a touch of privacy, we installed new 100mm treated fence posts and caps, elevating the courtyard’s boundary. To enhance safety and aesthetics, we fitted new exterior lighting, providing both illumination and a warm ambiance.

The centerpiece of this transformation is the tiling of the courtyard area using exterior floor tiles, creating an inviting space that’s easy to maintain. We added a unique touch by creating a lip at the gate entrance, achieved by mitring tiles at a 45° angle.

For the finishing touch, we sanded and painted the existing gate, restoring its charm and ensuring it complements the new courtyard beautifully. Explore the photos of this project below.
